WebDev Connection - 26 July 2007

This week I am doing an experiment in order to determine if Linking to Other Sites Increase Incoming Traffic. While I spend the next few days linking, I encourage you to take this time to read My Top 11 Posts! Now, time for some more links!

Daily Blog Tips does an incoming traffic comparison of Digg vs Copyblogger! While Digg obviously is the short term winner, overall Copyblogger comes out on top which demonstrates the importance of quality links over temporary traffic surges!

Matt Huggins is on a role with another great post which describes How to Convert Visitors into Readers with a Quality About Page. This article brings up some very important points most of us have never considered beforehand!

Bloggrrl puts together a list of the 12 Best Forums For Bloggers Who Want Bucks. If you’re looking to find a good community to learn and discuss various web development and blogging techniques, definitely check out this list.

Copyblogger writes a great post asking, How Successful is Your Landing Page? Read this article to find out more about the various metrics involved with calculating the results.

Coding Horror has a nice little article about How to Advertise on Your Blog Without Selling Out. Everyone is worried about how their visitors will react the first time they put ads on their website, so check out this post which helps you approach the situation in the best way possible.
